Why is there no info on AR glasses from smaller companies?

I’ve been wondering why there’s hardly any info about AR glasses that aren’t from the big players. I mean, I saw these RayNeo X2 glasses that are standalone and have a Quest 2 processor, but why aren’t there any reviews or anything? Also, Google and Samsung are supposed to announce AR glasses or headsets, but I can’t find any info on that either. Just feels like there’s more hype around other glasses…

Have you checked out Even Reality’s G1? I heard it has some cool features.

Yup, I agree. Still a cool product though, even without much buzz.

For RayNeo X2 and Inmo Air 2, it seems they didn’t sell well, so they kinda just dropped them. They might be waiting to launch something new instead.

Needed more marketing. What’s the Inmo Air 2 though?

Seems like there are a lot of reviews out there, but most of them for RayNeo X2 are pretty negative. The field of view is only 25 degrees, which really limits its AR potential.

I’ve seen a few positive ones too, though. It can depend on where you look.

You just need to know where to look! There are some decent links for open-source glasses through Augment OS.

Ah cool, I’ll check that out!
