I don’t understand why most products only offer Quick Look functionality and almost no one is trying to create an alternative to Adobe Aero. It would be great to be able to configure ARKit options and export them as an App Clip since Quick Look is quite limited in what you can set up. I only know of Onirix and JigSpace offering this, but you can’t choose advanced ARKit features with them.
App clips didn’t take off… so I guess that’s part of it.
But they still work, right? Like Adobe Aero does. It’s a way to solve branded AR experiences with ARKit.
IDK, I thought they were kinda limited too… but maybe I just don’t get it.
Yeah, I feel that. There’s a big push to revamp AR as immersive next year. I think whoever solves a tool like this first will really have an edge.
I’ve tried those apps you mentioned. They have potential, but I wish I could use more advanced features.
Same here! What advanced features are you looking for?
Stuff like custom animations or interactive elements. Just feels like Quick Look isn’t enough.
Honestly, it’s kind of surprising that more developers aren’t jumping on this. The AR space is growing.
Right? It’s like there’s a big opportunity here that people are missing out on.
Maybe they just haven’t figured out how to market it yet? Like, who wants to use a clip instead of a full app?
I think it might just be a matter of time before more options come out. Technology is evolving fast.
True! I’m excited to see what next year brings… AR is definitely the future.
