I’ve been wondering about the experience of connecting my iPad to the xreal air 2 glasses through USB-C. Does it cover the entire screen, or is it more like a small adjustable panel? Also, does the image stay in one place if I move my head around? I really want to mirror my iPad screen while still being able to see the whiteboard in class so I can take notes without constantly looking down.
Honestly, you might want to check out the subreddit for xreal. They have a lot of info and answers to questions like yours.
Thanks for the tip. I’ll definitely check it out. Just trying to get a clear picture of what to expect.
From what I’ve read, the display is adjustable, so it might not cover the whole screen at once. You can set it up to your liking though.
Got it. So it sounds like I can customize it a bit. That’s good to know.
I think it stays in one place even if you move your head, which is pretty cool. That way, you can focus on the whiteboard and your notes at the same time.
Wait, how does it stay in one place? Does it use some kind of tracking tech?
Yeah, I believe it has some built-in tech that helps keep the display stable relative to your view.
I’m curious too about how clear the image is when mirrored. Anyone tried it?
I haven’t tried it yet, but I’m hoping it’s pretty clear. That would really help with taking notes.
Just a heads up, you might need to fiddle with some settings to get it just right. But once you do, it should work well.
Thanks for the heads up. I appreciate any tips on settings that could help.
