What is the best Advice on Creating Augmented Reality Graphics?

Hi Peeps,

I’m interested in diving into augmented reality (AR) and want to create some engaging AR graphics for a project. I’m looking for advice on the best tools, software, and techniques for designing and implementing AR graphics.

Has anyone here worked with AR graphics before? What software or platforms do you recommend for creating high-quality AR visuals? Any tips on integrating these graphics into AR applications or potential challenges to be aware of would be incredibly helpful.

Thanks in advance …

Hey…
Prioritize clarity and user interaction. Ensure your AR graphics are contextually relevant, visually appealing, and optimized for performance. Test thoroughly in real-world conditions to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.

For someone with knowledge of the field, this is a fairly easy thing to do. Honestly, my advice would be to hire someone to do it for you. If you want to put in the effort to learn, there are many technologies that work with image targets. You can make the T-Shirt an Image or Object Target and associate a 3d model. This can be done with Unity and a Vuforia plugin. Also can be done on iOS with ARKit or RealityKit. That probably has a steeper learning curve. I wouldn’t reccomend threejs for this application, as it’s not built for AR specifically and you probably don’t wanna go web-based route.

If you have no previuos experience building apps though, my recommendation would be hire someone that has experience creating these types of point-and-shoot ar experiences.

Hello,
Making great augmented reality (AR) graphics needs a mix of creative design, technical skills, and a clear understanding of how users will interact with it
