VR is the best way to play survival games

The main reason I love survival games is that you see the work you’re doing and getting the satisfaction of finally completing something. VR makes it so much better because like you’re actually doing the actions too. Anyone else feel this way?

which ones have you been playing?

I’ve been playing a lot of different ones. Just got out of a 4 hour Into The Radius run, I agree!

I agree. Never liked The Forest on a flat screen, but in VR with a friend it’s a completely different survivalist social animal

I get that. VR really changes the experience. It feels so immersive.

I’ve been playing Strayed and Grim recently and I agree.

Nice, I haven’t tried those. What do you like about them?

They just feel more real in VR, you know? The actions and everything.

Definitely agree. Would be crazy to see like 7 days to die vr lol. I started playing skyrim with the full mad god overhaul mod with the Madela npc thing so you can actually talk to em.

7 days to die in VR is awesome already tried it.

No way, that sounds amazing. I need to check it out.

I couldn’t enjoy it with my 4070, I either vomited via the looks or got a headache by the low resolution/reprojection. Cheers to the devs for making it tho.

That sounds rough. Did you try adjusting any settings?

Yeah, I messed around a bit but nothing really helped. I guess VR isn’t for everyone.

I really like the long dark VR mod. Still best with a keyboard and mouse though…There are too many actions and not enough buttons on controllers.

I can see that. Sometimes it feels like you need more buttons for all the actions.

Exactly. But when it works, it’s super immersive.

Are there any day z/ark style survival games?

Is that similar? I’ve heard about it but never played.

Yeah, it’s got some survival elements and crafting, you’ll probably like it.
