I made a Streamlabs account to honestly stream in multiple places at once and read chats across platforms. I just discovered OVR Toolkit and I’m wondering if I buy OVR Toolkit from Steam, is that exclusive to Twitch, or can I pull my Streamlabs window and look at chat and alerts that way for all platforms, not just Twitch? Any insights would be appreciated.
I think OVR Toolkit is pretty flexible. You should be able to pull in your Streamlabs window. It should work for other platforms too, not just Twitch.
What do you mean by flexible? Does that mean I can customize how things look on my stream?
Yeah, that’s exactly it. You can set up your alerts and chat however you want, so it should work for all your platforms.
I haven’t used OVR Toolkit myself, but I’ve heard good things about it. It seems like a solid choice for managing multiple streams.
So, you’re saying it can handle multiple platforms? How does it do that?
From what I understand, it lets you set up overlays and manage chats from different platforms in one place. It’s pretty convenient.
I think it’s great that you want to stream on multiple platforms. Just make sure your internet connection can handle the load.
Yeah, I was wondering about that too. Does anyone know what kind of internet speed is recommended for streaming like this?
Typically, you want at least 10 Mbps upload speed for good quality. But higher is always better for multiple streams.
I really like the idea of using Streamlabs with OVR Toolkit. It sounds like it could be super helpful for managing everything.
Yeah, for sure. I’ve been thinking about doing something similar. Hope it works out for you.
I’ve been using Streamlabs for a while, and it has some nice features. Just be prepared to spend some time setting everything up.
Does it take a long time to set up? I’m not the most tech-savvy person.
It can take a bit, but there are plenty of tutorials out there. You’ll get the hang of it eventually.
