The Best (VR) Game Most People Haven't Played Yet (Enderal)

I’m in VR since 2016 and have finished the majority of AAA and popular VR games across PSVR, PCVR, and Quest. I recently played the Skyrim total conversion mod ‘Enderal.’ I hadn’t heard much about it before, but it was the best ~80 hours I’ve had in VR so far. It’s an amazing game, but you need to be into the ‘middle age RPG’ stuff. I played standing but had a chair in my play area for conversations, which added to the immersion. The storytelling and atmosphere are fantastic. While it’s complicated to set up, once done, it’s one of the best VR experiences. If you haven’t played it yet, it’s even free for Skyrim VR owners! Essential mods like Higgs, VRIKs, Spellwheel, and Plank are recommended for the best experience.

It’s a decent game, but it’s not THAAAAAT good. People are starved for very deep, immersive RPGs, so they tend to overrate important mods/total conversions. Certainly recommended for Elder Scroll fans, though.

There’s a wabbajack installer for it. ‘Enderal VR Essentials Nightly’ by Ash0k0. I was never interested in Skyrim flatscreen, so Enderal in VR was my first experience with Skyrim in VR. What a ride! Although for replayability, I mostly play regular Skyrim VR now that I’ve finished Enderal.

I haven’t played it in VR, but I’ll also vouch for Enderal as a great game. One of my favorite games ever, despite technically being a mod for another game.

I’ll drop another game: There Be Goblins.

Absolutely loved this game in flatscreen. Very excited to play in VR.

I didn’t even realize Enderal worked in VR. Can you just install it normally on Skyrim VR and then stack the wabbajack Enderal mod pack on top, or is there something different you need to do for the VR version?

It’s a few weeks and I don’t remember 100%. There are tutorials on YouTube though that I followed.
