Hi Pals,

I’m in the market for a simple and affordable pair of AR glasses. I’m looking for something primarily for navigation while driving and for entertainment while running. Ideally, they should support activities like watching Netflix or Disney Plus, or even playing a road game.

My budget is around or under $350, and I’d prefer to buy from a major retailer like Amazon.

I recommend checking out the Bose Frames Tempo. I’ve found them to be great for outdoor use with their polarized lenses and open-ear audio, providing a comfortable experience. While they don’t have a full AR interface, they support music streaming and can be used for navigation with your phone’s GPS. They’re available on Amazon and fit well within my budget.

There’s a specific type of glasses designed for running and similar activities. These glasses need to stay securely on your head to be effective. However, they often have lower resolution and are more expensive. If you can watch videos while running without getting severe motion sickness, I applaud you—it’s not something I can manage.
