so when i play the luke ross vr mod on cyberpunk 2077 the game just lags and looks super janky i have all the setting to small i have watched every guide but nothing help i think its something woth the resolution cus when i put at its smallest its normalish but when i put it at normal resolution it just lags super much and looks weird and hurts my eyes.
Key point: PC specs.
I think my PC specs are great. I paid a lot for it, so I should be good to go.
Some people spend a lot on gold HDMI cables, but they don’t really boost performance.
At the end of the day, money doesn’t equate to better specs.
I don’t know much about specs; I’m pretty new to computers.
@EmilyWilson
It sounds like you’re just playing around.
You’re smart enough to install a VR mod for a regular game, but you’re having trouble checking the specs? That’s hard to believe.
The installation was simple; it was just a drag and drop.
@EmilyWilson You can go to Windows settings and look for an ‘About’ or ‘Info’ section that shows the CPU, RAM, and GPU.
Should I share them with you?
Share it here; it’s important to compare your specs with that game and the mod.
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
RAM: 16GB
GPU: MSI AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT Mech 2X OC
You’re going to need a more powerful GPU than that to run Cyberpunk in VR without making serious sacrifices to visual quality and performance. It’s a game that needs top-notch hardware to run smoothly.
Is everything else good?
It’s mainly dependent on the GPU, so you’ll want a more powerful one.
Also, 16GB of RAM is the bare minimum. If you’re open to spending a bit more, the sweet spot these days is 32GB (2x 16GB).
Your hardware isn’t great; you’ll need to upgrade. Try turning on Mono mode in the rendering settings; it might help smooth things out, but overall, your specs are pretty low.
