Hello hello…
I recently got a PS5 and an Oculus Quest 2, and I’m wondering if there’s any way to connect them so I can use the Quest 2 for gaming. Has anyone tried this or knows if it’s possible?
After thoroughly researching the compatibility of the Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headset with the PlayStation 5 console, I can confidently say they are not compatible. The Meta Quest 2 is designed to work with PCs and Android mobile devices, but it does not have native support for PlayStation consoles like the PS5. The Quest 2 uses its own proprietary software platform called Oculus, which is not compatible with the PS5’s operating system or games. To use VR with a PS5, you would need Sony’s own PlayStation VR headset, which is specifically designed to work with the PS5 and PS4. While there may be some unofficial methods to try connecting the Quest 2 to a PS5, such as using a PC as an intermediary, these are not officially supported and may not work reliably. For the best VR experience on a PS5, your only option is to use the PlayStation VR headset. The Meta Quest 2 is an excellent standalone VR system, but it is not compatible with the PS5 console.
Not directly; PS5 is incompatible with Quest 2. You would be better off with a gaming PC if you wanted to play better games.
Although you can theoretically connect your PS5, it is useless because VR games won’t run on it.
Sideload from PS5 to Quest using the Android app “PS Remote.”
