So I just started working as an Augmented Reality developer for a large company, and there’s nothing really established here. I think leadership is not sure what they can do with AR, and since I have just entered the space, I feel the same way. What do you guys do to discover ways that augmented reality can be used to add value to a business?
Yeah, I think the best ideas come from end users rather than leaderships with vision. Keep your eyes open at your company, find people who are subject matter experts in their non-AR field and partner with them to solve their real-world use cases.
I agree with NYB. Engaging with end users is key. You can also look at competitors and see what AR solutions they’re implementing. That can spark some ideas.
Also, consider doing some workshops or hackathons. They can be a great way to generate ideas and involve different teams.
