Hi y’all,
I recently discovered Worldcast AR and am really excited about the platform since it seems to genuinely support small creators like me. I’ve been exploring their pricing structure but still have a few questions.
From what I understand, if I’m creating WebAR experiences for personal or commercial use, it’s going to be free—amazing! But then, what are the upgrade and partner programs? When would I need to opt for one of these?
Also, could someone explain the partner program in more detail? I want to know if it’s something I’d need as a small creator, or if I can stick with the free plan for now.
Thanks in advance

When you pay the $10, you get extra insights on how your project’s performing. You can see stuff like how long people spend viewing it and roughly where they’re located. In my experience, this is exactly the kind of info clients, especially businesses, want to know. The partner program is cool too because it lets you co-brand with your own logo and URL, which is great if you’re an AR agency looking to promote yourself. I’ve been using their service since 2022 and really like it.
From what I get, you can use Worldcast for free, but your projects will have their branding on them. I think you can remove their logos by paying $10 per experience. That also gives you ‘advanced analytics,’ but I’m not exactly sure what that includes.
Thanks a ton… I need to create a WebAR experience for a local shop—so I should go with the free account, right? In your experience, which feature of Worldcast is the most reliable and best? Is it Printcast, Showcast, or Geocast?
It really depends on what you’re trying to do. If you want to make a brochure come alive with videos and clickable links, go with PrintCAST. If you’re aiming to show off something in 3D that people can walk around, then ShowCAST is the way to go. I personally like using both PrintCAST and ShowCAST.
Here’s how I do it: if I make any money from a project, I pay the $10 each month. But if it’s for demo purposes or charity work, I stick with the free option—it helps give the developers some exposure, which seems fair. It’s your call, but I like to keep things honorable and pay my dues, especially since KP9 is a small company doing big things. Have fun with it
