I have a powerful gaming pc (4090 13900k) and am looking for the best possible wireless vr experience.
So far I am tossing between vive pro 2 or quest pro but so long as its wireless would consider anything. Please include upcoming headsets if they are near release.
Very powerful PC you gut there @AVREnthusiastsHub1! For wireless VR, choose the Meta Quest 3 (cheap and comfortable) or the HTC Vive Pro 2 (great visuals but more expensive with the wireless adaptor). Keep an eye out for a new headset from Samsung later this year.
With that killer PC (jealous), wireless VR is yours for the taking. Vive Pro 2 with a wireless adapter gives the best visuals, but setup’s trickier. Quest Pro is super easy to use wirelessly, but needs a strong Wi-Fi 6E router for PC VR. Keep an eye out for Valve Deckard (rumored wireless monster) and Pico 4S announcements - they might be hot contenders.
Hello fam, I recommend Virtual Desktop App, This app lets you wirelessly stream VR games from your PC to a standalone headset like the Meta Quest 3. For optimal performance and minimal lag, a strong Wi-Fi 6E network is essential.
quest 3 is pretty great. my first VR headset other than psvr1 a few years ago. The Vive Pro 2 seems to have Fresnel Lenses, the Quest 3 has newer Pancake lenses, which are the main reason why everyone loves the Quest 3, including myself. I have not experienced fresnel lenses, but people say the pancake lenses are Streets ahead compared to fresnel. I honestly would go with the Quest 3, the clarity really is impressive. like looking through a window into another world.
