Hello all, I’m interested in getting some AR glasses specifically for gaming on the ROG Ally X and maybe watching movies on my phone. Most of my work is away from home, so I think this could really improve my quality of life.
So far, I’m looking at the Xreal 2 Pro and the Viture Pro, but I’m not sure enough to make a solid choice. Any help or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Imo, seriously consider waiting for the Xreal One release. If you’re nearsighted, Viture Pro XR and Rokid Max are good options. Only go for Rokid Max if screen size is your top priority.
My suggestion is to try the Xreal One or One Pro. Other models might need software for display settings, but the One can handle it all on its own.

Only 38-degree field of view?
They also mention a 57-degree vertical field of view. But if it’s only 38 degrees horizontally, that seems odd to me.
