We are already using AR for indoor and Outdoor Navigation at my place of work. Simply divine!

Based on my research, the key augmented reality (AR) trends to watch in 2024 include: AI-powered AR is transforming the technology, with AI enabling more realistic 3D models, object detection, and natural language interactions. AR-based gaming is also evolving, blending virtual and physical experiences in new ways. Retailers and marketers are increasingly leveraging AR to provide immersive customer experiences, like virtual try-ons. AR headsets and smart glasses are expected to see significant growth, with over 1.7 billion mobile AR users projected worldwide by 2024. The combination of AI and AR is a particularly exciting development, as it could finally bring extended reality (XR) into the mainstream. As smartphones remain the most accessible AR platform, we’ll also see more tethered AR glasses emerge as a bridge to standalone headsets. Overall, AR is poised to become an even more integral part of how we interact with the digital and physical worlds in the coming years.
