Augmented reality in banking

I’ve been exploring new tech trends, and I recently heard about augmented reality being used in various industries. Given my interest in banking and finance, I’m curious about how augmented reality might be applied in this field. For instance, could AR enhance customer experiences or streamline financial operations? Has anyone come across examples or studies of AR being integrated into banking services?

Although I adore AR, this is so dumb. Banks and ATMs are displayed on Google Maps, so I don’t have to take the chance of giving strangers my credit card number by scanning it in public.

And to display all that data on balance? Since you would need to authenticate with your bank, it would be best to use the official app, which has security built in.
What can augmented reality offer that current technologies don’t for banking? Nothing as of yet.
