Apple vs Meta... who's doing better with AR glasses?

So, I’ve been thinking about how Apple and Meta are approaching AR glasses differently. Apple went all in with the Vision Pro, which is super high-end and has all these features, but then sales dipped after the hype. On the flip side, Meta is taking a more gradual approach with their Ray-Ban Stories, adding features bit by bit. What do you all think about these strategies? Which one do you think will end up being more effective for mass adoption?

I find Meta’s strategy of incremental updates pretty smart. They’re adding features like AI integration and live streaming slowly and it seems to be working. What do you think?

Honestly, Apple’s approach feels a bit over the top. They threw in everything with the Vision Pro, but maybe they missed out on learning from users early on. It’s like they went for the Rolls Royce but forgot about comfort.

I wonder how the competition will shape up. Are there any other companies we should keep an eye on in this space?

I feel like Meta’s approach with Ray-Ban and their wrist device for notifications could actually be a game changer. Lightweight and practical sounds like a solid plan.

I think the market is still figuring out what people really want from AR glasses. Apple and Meta could both learn a lot from user feedback.
