Anyone else think this portable PC with AR glasses is kinda wild?

So I came across this concept for a portable PC with AR glasses and a keyboard. It’s designed to make using AR glasses more practical in everyday life, which sounds cool. But I wonder if it’ll catch on… Does anyone else have thoughts on this?

I mean, it’s kinda like what Spacetop tried, but that didn’t really work out, did it?

True, but I think there’s still a demand for monitor replacements. A lot of people here want that kind of setup.

Yeah, but most just want to ditch their monitors, not their whole PCs. The modular setup with XR glasses sounds better.

Exactly, like having AR glasses with a separate processing unit—though the wires can be annoying.

Looks like a toilet roll holder for AR glasses… IDK if I’d want that vibe in my workspace lol.

Haha, I can see that. But if it works well, maybe the design won’t matter as much?

If these could work with existing glasses, I’d be all in. Anyone know if that’s possible?

Yeah, if they can fit in the case, that’d be great.

So this could basically turn into a little computer with the glasses as the monitor? Sounds interesting.

Exactly, it’s like using a Raspberry Pi with glasses for display. Pretty neat concept.

I’d prefer a solid keyboard with everything built in. This setup looks a bit messy to me.

Right? That keyboard looks super awkward. I thought AR glasses were meant to be worn all the time.

Exactly, storing them like that seems off. I’d rather have something more streamlined.
