Will Magic Leap Glasses Save the AR Market?

With Microsoft halting the development of Hololens 2, I’ve been watching to see how this impacts the AR market. Magic Leap has faced challenges, but can it still play a significant role? I’m curious about opinions on whether their partnership with Google could revitalize their presence in the market.

Honestly, Magic Leap seems to be struggling. I wouldn’t count on them to save the AR market.

They’re partnering with Google, which might help, but I’ve heard they laid off a lot of staff recently.

They have some solid hardware, but with layoffs and bricking older devices, I wouldn’t recommend buying into ML now.

The partnership could leverage Google’s Android XR, which might give them a boost. Smaller AR companies need these kinds of collaborations to compete.

Google and Samsung are working on their own AR solutions, so it’s hard to say if ML will lead the way. They need to innovate fast.
