Good morning everyone, I’ve recently started making VR films, mostly meditation sessions and virtual tours. But to be honest, they haven’t really taken off. I also tried my hand at some car videos, but still not see much engagement. I get that these things take time, but I’m curious if I should stick with what I’ve been doing or try a different approach. I would appreciate any ideas or feedback.
I think people would love to see VR videos of things they don’t usually experience, like scuba diving, rock climbing, or even space travel. Kinda like Planet Earth but in VR form.
That’s a great idea, I’ll have to think about how to make it happen. Thanks for the suggestion!
Why not try some AR content? Could be a fun new direction!
AR is definitely something I’ll consider! Just gotta figure out the right angle for it.
Maybe you could do something like the movie 1917, where everything feels like one continuous shot. Could be really cool in VR, even if it’s just short clips!
I just checked out the trailer for 1917—looks amazing! I’ll definitely experiment with that idea, thanks for the inspiration!
Ever thought about filming in rally cars or races like Pikes Peak? Or maybe holiday tours and documentaries, like showing off caves or museums. Haunted houses could also be a cool niche.
Rally cars would be awesome, but I worry about the motion sickness factor with VR. Still, I’ll give the dinosaur museum and haunted houses a try. Thanks for the ideas!
