What are some fun augmented reality apps to use with my Android phone? Nothing too complicated... Just something with a quick "wow factor" to show my wife and mother

I can show you a couple of apps in five minutes or less.

In all honesty, I have NO knowledge of augmented reality.

Which program or apps, if any, allow you to add amusing effects to your face?

Pokemon Go is another, I suppose. However, that’s arguably more difficult than five minutes.

Google Translate’s live mode. Turn on your camera, position it at a street sign, and watch it convert to another language.

Hey, I used this app called ‘WiFi AR map’ and my friends were blown away. It basically shows WiFi signal strength in AR so you can map out your house as you walk around. Super handy tool, my friends thought it was awesome!

Try the B612 and Snapchat Dome AR filters. They’re not that bad.

Likewise, have a look at FaceRig. For a few minutes, the free version does an excellent job at adding ‘wow factor’ and contains some humorous ones.
