Hey everybody, I’m currently thinking of getting a pair of AR glasses to increase productivity since carrying around my laptop is a hassle. The limitation of a single screen really bugs me, especially with multiple tabs open. I was looking into AR glasses last year but figured I should wait for the tech to develop further. Recently, I’ve been checking out Viture and XREAL, but I’m stuck on which to choose, especially with XREAL having 6 versions: the One, One Pro, Air 2 Ultra, Air 2 Pro, Air, and Air 2. Viture has the Pro XR and the One Lite XR. My main requirements are productivity for extra screens and the occasional movie watching, not really gaming since I have a setup back home. My vision is 20/20, and I’ll be using these with my HP x360 Envy running Windows 10/11.
I’m in the same boat! I’m debating between the Viture Pro and XREAL Ones. I like the Viture because I hear the integration with Windows is a leg up on XREAL. But I do like the onboard 3DOF of the Ones and the smooth tracking. Plus, the ability to connect to more devices without needing a dongle (like connecting to the Switch) is a bonus.
XREAL ONE will be nice😉 I’ve heard good things about them for both productivity and casual use.
I’ve been looking into this too. The different versions of XREAL are confusing. What do you think is the main difference between the One and the One Pro?
Honestly, if you’re mainly focused on productivity, make sure to check out the software compatibility and any features focused on multi-tasking. That could really make a difference.
