Just got a Meta Quest 3 and I’ve been struggling all day to get Steamlink to connect my headset to my computer. I’ve checked all the help forums, and they all say the same things: turn on remote play in Steam, enable network discovery, reboot everything, and make sure both devices are on the same network. I’ve done all of that and still nothing works. I really have no clue why this isn’t working.
Steamlink is actually for headsets with eye tracking. That’s not what’s causing your problem, but you’re using the wrong software, so maybe you shouldn’t worry so much. Virtual Desktop is the tool most people use to connect a Quest 3 to a PC.
