So does DLSS4 not work in VR... what’s the deal?

I’m curious if DLSS4 will be any good for VR, just like DLSS3 didn’t really work. I mean, if we’re not getting any benefits from it, what Nvidia tech is even good for VR besides just having more power in the new GPUs?

The new transformer-powered DLSS models sound pretty promising. They might help reduce ghosting, which is a big issue in VR. I think the improvements in temporal stability could really shine in demanding games like MS Flight Sim. Have you tried that one in VR?

I think DLSS4 and DLSS3 can work in VR, but it depends on the game. MFG won’t work for VR since VR usually uses reprojection methods like ASW and SSW.

I think you’re mixing up DLSS and ASW. DLSS is about rendering at a lower resolution and then upscaling, while ASW is more about generating frames differently.

What about DLSS3.5? Does that change anything for VR, or is it still the same deal?

Honestly, I feel like raw power combined with super sampling is the way to go. I’m not too keen on all this AI stuff.
