Is the Quest 2 worth $120... what do you think?

I came across a Quest 2 for $120 and I’m trying to figure out if it’s worth it. I’ve heard mixed opinions, and I want to make sure I’m making a good choice. Has anyone here used it recently? I’d appreciate any thoughts or experiences you can share.

I think it’s a decent price for a Quest 2. The library of games is pretty solid, and it’s a great entry into VR if you’re new to it.

Yeah, but do you think it’s still worth it compared to newer models? I’ve seen some people say the Quest 3 is way better.

Good point. The Quest 3 does have better specs, but if you’re just starting out, the Quest 2 can still give you a lot of fun experiences.

Honestly, I got my Quest 2 for around the same price a while back, and I’ve had a blast with it. It’s great for social VR and casual games.

That sounds cool. What games do you recommend for it? I want to make the most out of it if I decide to buy.

Definitely check out Beat Saber and Rec Room. They’re super fun and have a lot of replayability.

I’ve had my Quest 2 for a while now, and while it’s great, the battery life can be a bit annoying. Just something to keep in mind.

Oh, really? How bad is it? I’ve heard that from a few people, but I wasn’t sure how much that affects gameplay.

It’s not awful, but if you plan on long sessions, you might want to grab an extra battery pack or a charging dock.

For $120, I’d say go for it. You can always upgrade later if you really get into VR. Plus, there’s a ton of content available for the Quest 2.

That sounds reasonable. I just want to make sure I’m not missing out on too much by not getting the latest model.

You won’t be missing out on the core experiences. Just maybe some of the latest graphics and features, but the Quest 2 still holds up.

What’s the comfort level like? I’ve heard some headsets can be a bit heavy after a while.

It’s pretty comfortable for shorter sessions, but I can see it getting a bit heavy if you play for a long time without breaks.

That’s good to know. I’ll make sure to take breaks if I get it. Thanks for the heads up.
