Just ordered a used Quest 3 (saved me like $200). Any recommendations for what I should play? Also, what should I do when I get it? I’m already planning on getting a Bobo headstrap. Also, I use a PC for Steam VR, so I don’t need to have games installed on the Quest to play my PC VR rig, right?
PCVR games run on the PC, not on the Quest. Check out this guide for newbies: PCVR 101.
If you have good Wi-Fi, you can use Air Link. If not, get a high-speed cable for a wired connection.
You’re right about getting a better headstrap. The Bobo is great, and the €15 Temu strap is better than the original one. For PC VR, get a Wi-Fi 6E access point for wireless gameplay. For games, it depends on your preference, but I enjoy Pavlov (like CS:GO for VR), Beat Saber (best on Quest), and Half-Life: Alyx (the best single-player VR game). Pistol Whip is great for fitness too. You might also want to check out Quest+ for a monthly game selection.
