Basically the title. My Oculus Rift from 2018 finally gave out so I need some kind of upgrade and have absolutely no idea what to look for.
The Quest 3 is the best jack of all trades headset at the moment. It can do standalone, mixed reality, and wireless PCVR. The clarity is great with pancake lenses!

It connects to your PC over Wi-Fi. Your PC needs to be wired to your router for the best performance. You can also use apps like Virtual Desktop for streaming.
What if my Wi-Fi isn’t great? Should I upgrade my router?
If you’re going wireless, Quest 3 is solid. For wired, check out Pimax or Bigscreen Beyond for better quality.
I’ve heard mixed things about the PSVR2. What do you think?
I think it’s good for PlayStation exclusives but not the best for PCVR. The lenses can be a hassle.
I personally love my Quest 3. Wireless is awesome, and the image quality is impressive on Wi-Fi 6.
But what about latency? Is it noticeable?
Honestly, the latency isn’t a problem for me at all! It’s pretty smooth.
