Are my career goals in healthcare AR feasible?

Hello, VR Community. I’m looking for advice on whether my idea and career goals are realistic and achievable. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. About me: I’m a medical doctor with 4 years of hospital experience in emergency medicine, hold an MBA, and have 1 year of experience as a manager in the pharmaceutical industry. Currently, I’m pursuing an MSc in Biomedical Engineering in the UK. While the program focuses on implantables and tissue engineering, it was the only option available for my MSc. My true passion lies in the IT side of healthcare. I’ve always enjoyed finding practical solutions to challenges and improving how things work. For years, I’ve had a dream of moving to California to work in the tech industry, developing cutting-edge healthcare solutions. Now that I have more time, I’ve started learning Arduino, C#, and Unity to build hands-on experience and work toward this goal.

Your background sounds impressive. I think your goals are definitely achievable. Combining your medical experience with tech is a great move in today’s healthcare landscape.

I think your idea of integrating AR into healthcare workflows is really interesting. Have you looked into potential partnerships with tech companies?

With your experience and a potential patent, I think you have a solid chance in Silicon Valley. Just make sure you have a clear plan when you start applying for jobs.

What you’re doing sounds like a great niche. AR in healthcare can really change the game, and your background gives you an edge. Just keep pushing forward.

Are you familiar with any AR companies in California? It might help to know who’s out there working in your area of interest.
