Any AR glasses to replace large monitors?

I work in tax transactions and rely heavily on Word, PPT, Excel, and Outlook. I love my 43-inch monitor at home for multitasking, but the smaller monitors at the office just don’t cut it. I’m looking for reliable AR glasses that can help me recreate that large monitor experience while working on the go. Do any of you have suggestions?

Honestly, AR glasses aren’t quite there for productivity. People mention issues like blurry edges and narrow field of view. Plus, who wants to wear a bulky headset all day?

Yeah, right now there are no AR glasses with the pixel density you’ll be happy with. The Varjo XR-4 and Apple Vision Pro are the best, but they’re super pricey.

Have you checked out the headset from Visor? It’s coming out soon and could work with the Immersed app. It’s a bit expensive but might fit your needs.

Sounds interesting! Do you know when it will be officially released?

You might want to look into Spacetop from Sightful. It pairs with AR glasses and simulates multiple monitors. It could really enhance your workspace.

That sounds cool! But how does it compare to the Quest 3 for simulating multiple screens?

The Quest 3 is also a great option for simulating large monitors. It has remote desktop capabilities and will integrate well with Windows 11 soon.

I’m a bit skeptical about wearing something on my face all day. How comfortable are these AR glasses for long use?

Comfort varies by model, but most are still pretty heavy for extended wear. It’s something to consider if you plan to use them all day.
